These are day- long seminars held throughout the year for Middle and High School students. The
goal of the sessions is to provide the skills necessary for inclusive leadership. The expectation is that
the emerging leaders who attend these conferences will practice, use, model, and teach what they
have learned in their schools and the broader community. In partnership with area social agencies,
the NFJC has found a unique way to bring a wide range of issues important to young people to an
exciting seminar where participation is the key.
Our upcoming Youth Leadership Conferences titled "The Elephant in the Room: Discussing Diversity" are scheduled for June 5th (for High Schools) and June 7th (for Middle Schools).Due date for registration is Friday, June 1, 2012.
These conferences which are being held at Medaille College will run from 8:30AM -1:30PM, will include a light breakfast and lunch.
